Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.14
ततः प्रव्यथिताः सर्वे देवाः साग्निपुरोगमाः।
अब्रुवन्वचनं सर्वे परस्परसमागताः॥
tataḥ pravyathitāḥ sarve devāḥ sāgni-purogamāḥ
abruvan vacanaṁ sarve paraspara-samāgatāḥ
tataḥ = then; pravyathitāḥ = became very distressed; sarve = all; devāḥ = the devas; sāgni-purogamāḥ = headed by Agni; abruvan = spoke; vacanam = [the following] words; sarve = all of them; paraspara-samāgatāḥ = got together and to one another.
All the devas headed by Agni then became very distressed. All of them got together and spoke [the following] words to one another.
