Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.28
तथा संवसतस्तस्य मुनीनामाश्रमेषु वै।
रमतश्चानुकूल्येन ययुः संवत्सरा दश॥
tathā saṁvasatas tasya munīnām āśrameṣu vai
ramataś cānukūlyena yayuḥ saṁvatsarā daśa
tathā = thus; saṁvasataḥ tasya = while Rāma lived; munīnām = of the sages; āśrameṣu vai = in the āśramas; ramataḥ = sported; ca = and; ānukūlyena = happily; yayuḥ = passed; saṁvatsarāḥ = years; daśa = ten.
Ten years passed while Rāma thus happily lived and sported in the āśramas of the sages.
