स तमाश्रममासाद्य मुनिभिः प्रतिपूजितः।
तत्रापि न्यवसद्रामः किंचित्कालमरिंदमः॥
sa tam āśramam āsādya munibhiḥ pratipūjitaḥ
tatrāpi nyavasad rāmaḥ kiñcit kālam arindamaḥ
saḥ = the; tam = that; āśramam = āśrama; āsādya = having reached; munibhiḥ = by the sages; pratipūjitaḥ = after He was honored in response; tatra = there; api = also; nyavasat = stayed; rāmaḥ = Lord Rāma; kiñcit = for some; kālam = time; arindamaḥ = subduer of His enemies.
Having reached that āśrama, after He was honored in response by the sages, Lord Rāma, the subduer of His enemies, also stayed there for some time.1
1 After Lord Rāmacandra reached Sutīkṣṇa’s āśrama, He honored the sages there. They then reciprocated by honoring Him in response. He then stayed there for some time. Arindamaḥ (“subduer of His enemies”) indicates that He had subdued His enemies—those who had come to obstruct the sages’ sacrifices.
