Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.82
प्राज्यधूमाकुलवनश्चीरमालापरिष्कृतः।
प्रशान्तमृगयूथश्च नानाशकुनिनादितः॥
prājya-dhūmākula-vanaś cīra-mālā-pariṣkṛtaḥ
praśānta-mṛga-yūthaś ca nānā-śakuni-nāditaḥ
prājya-dhūma-ākula-vanaḥ = a lot of smoke from that āśrama has filled this forest; cīra-mālā-pariṣkṛtaḥ = the āśrama is embellished with clothes made of bark; praśānta-mṛga-yūthaḥ = it contains peaceful animals; ca = and; nānā-śakuni-nāditaḥ = is filled with sounds of various birds.
