Canto 3 -
Araṇya-kāṇḍa
Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.84

तस्येदमाश्रमपदं प्रभावाद्यस्य राक्षसैः।
दिगियं दक्षिणा त्रासाद्दृश्यते नोपभुज्यते॥

tasyedam āśrama-padaṁ prabhāvād yasya rākṣasaiḥ
dig iyaṁ dakṣiṇā trāsād dṛśyate nopabhujyate

tasya = his; idam = this is; āśrama-padam = āśrama area; prabhāvāt = by influence; yasya = his; rākṣasaiḥ = the rākṣasas; dik = region; iyam = at this; dakṣiṇā = southern; trāsāt = with fear; dṛśyate = look; na = [and] not; upabhujyate = do usurp it.

This is his āśrama area. By his influence, the rākṣasas look at this southern region with fear [and] do not usurp it.

[By Agastya’s influence, the southern region] is seen [by the rākṣasas] in fear [and] not usurped [by them] like in the ancient past.
