Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.95
यक्षत्वममरत्वं च राज्यानि विविधानि च।
अत्र देवाः प्रयच्छन्ति भूतैराराधिताः शुभैः॥
yakṣatvam amaratvaṁ ca rājyāni vividhāni ca
atra devāḥ prayacchanti bhūtair ārādhitāḥ śubhaiḥ
yakṣatvam = the status of a yakṣa; amaratvam ca = the status of a demigod; rājyāni = of kingdoms; vividhāni = varieties; ca = and; atra = here; devāḥ = the devas; prayacchanti = [quickly] grant; bhūtaiḥ = beings; ārādhitāḥ = worshipped; śubhaiḥ = by auspicious.
Worshipped by auspicious beings, the devas here [quickly] grant the status of a yakṣa, the status of a demigod and varieties of kingdoms.
It is implied that the devas are always with Agastya due to his engagement in spiritual worship. Auspicious beings refers to those constantly engaged in auspicious activities.
