Chapter 12: Agastya Requests Rāma to Protect the Sages
Text 3.12.21

ततः शिष्यैः परिवृतो मुनिरप्यभिनिष्पतत्।
तं ददर्शाग्रतो रामो मुनीनां दीप्ततेजसाम्॥

tataḥ śiṣyaiḥ parivṛto munir apy abhiniṣpatat
taṁ dadarśāgrato rāmo munīnāṁ dīpta-tejasām

tataḥ śiṣyaiḥ = by his disciples; parivṛtaḥ = surrounded; muniḥ = the sage; api = also; abhiniṣpatat = rushed forward; tam = him [standing]; dadarśa = saw; agrataḥ = in front; rāmaḥ = Rāma; munīnām = of sages; dīpta-tejasām = of blazing prowess.

Surrounded by his disciples, the sage also rushed forward. Rāma saw him [standing] in front of sages of blazing prowess.
