Araṇya-kāṇḍa
Chapter 19: Khara Sends Fourteen Rākṣasas to Destroy Rāma
Text 3.19.4
कः कालपाशमासज्य कण्ठे मोहान्न बुध्यते।

yas tvām adya samāsādya pītavān viṣam uttamam
kaḥ = who; kāla-pāśam = the noose of death; āsajya = and tied; kaṇṭhe = around his neck; mohāt = out of foolishness; na budhyate yaḥ = without understanding its consequences; tvām = you; adya = today; samāsādya = met; pītavān = drank; viṣam = poison; uttamam = lethal.
