Chapter 19: Khara Sends Fourteen Rākṣasas to Destroy Rāma
Text 3.19.18
ताभ्यामुभाभ्यां संभूय प्रमदामधिकृत्य ताम्।
इमामवस्थां नीताहं यथाऽनाथासती तथा॥
tābhyām ubhābhyāṁ sambhūya pramadām adhikṛtya tām
imām avasthāṁ nītāhaṁ yathānāthāsatī tathā
tābhyām ubhābhyām sambhūya = both of Them arrived at a consensus and; pramadām adhikṛtya = because of that beautiful lady; tām = to such; imām = as this; avasthām = a situation; nītā = have been brought; aham = I; yathā = as if; anāthā = I am an unprotected; asatī tathā = and unchaste woman.
Because of that beautiful lady, both of Them arrived at a consensus and I have been brought to such a situation as this as if I am an unprotected and unchaste woman.
