Chapter 26: Rāmacandra Destroys Dūṣaṇa and his Followers
Text 3.26.27
ततः पावकसङ्काशैर्हेमवज्रविभूषितैः।
जघान शेषं तेजस्वी तस्य सैन्यस्य सायकैः॥
tataḥ pāvaka-saṅkāśair hema-vajra-vibhūṣitaiḥ
jaghāna śeṣaṁ tejasvī tasya sainyasya sāyakaiḥ
tataḥ = then; pāvaka-saṅkāśaiḥ = those arrows blazed like fire; hema-vajra-vibhūṣitaiḥ = and were ornamented with gold and diamonds; jaghāna = killed; śeṣam = the rest; tejasvī = powerful Rāma; tasya = of the; sainyasya = army; sāyakaiḥ = with His arrows.
Powerful Rāma then killed the rest of the army with His arrows. Those arrows blazed like fire and were ornamented with gold and diamonds.
