प्रसीद लङ्केश्वर राक्षसेन्द्र लङ्कां प्रसन्नो भव साधु गच्छ।
त्वं स्वेषु दारेषु रमस्व नित्यं रामः सभार्यो रमतां वनेषु॥
prasīda laṅkeśvara rākṣasendra
laṅkāṁ prasanno bhava sādhu gaccha
tvaṁ sveṣu dāreṣu ramasva nityaṁ
rāmaḥ sa-bhāryo ramatāṁ vaneṣu
prasīda = be happy; laṅkā-īśvara = O lord of Laṅkā; rākṣasa-indra = and ruler of the rākṣasas; laṅkām = with Laṅkā; prasannaḥ = content; bhava = be; sādhu gaccha tvam = tread the right track; sveṣu = with your own; dāreṣu = wives; ramasva = be happy; nityam = always; rāmaḥ = Rāma; sa-bhāryaḥ = with His wife; ramatām = and let be happy; vaneṣu = in the woods.
O lord of Laṅkā and ruler of the rākṣasas, be happy! Be content with Laṅkā. Tread the right track. Be happy with your own wives and let Rāma always be happy with His wife in the woods.
