Chapter 36: Rāvaṇa Requests Mārīca to Help him
Text 3.36.14
त्वया ह्यहं सहायेन पार्श्वस्थेन महाबल।
भ्रातृभिश्च सुरान्युद्धे समग्रान्नाभिचिन्तये॥
tvayā hy ahaṁ sahāyena pārśvasthena mahā-bala
bhrātṛbhiś ca surān yuddhe samagrān nābhicintaye
tvayā = with you; hi = indeed; aham = I; sahāyena = as an accomplice; pārśvasthena = standing by me; mahā-bala = O greatly strong one; bhrātṛbhiḥ = with Kumbhakarṇa and other brothers; ca = as well as; surān = the devas; yuddhe = [even] in battle; samagrān = for all of; na abhicintaye = don’t care.
Indeed, with you standing by me as an accomplice as well as with Kumbhakarṇa and other brothers, O greatly strong one, I don’t care [even] for all of the devas in battle.1
