Chapter 43: Sītā Sees the Magical Deer
Text 3.43.10

आर्यपुत्राभिरामोऽसौ मृगो हरति मे मनः।
आनयैनं महाबाहो क्रीडार्थं नो भविष्यति॥

ārya-putrābhirāmo ’sau mṛgo harati me manaḥ
ānayainaṁ mahā-bāho krīḍārthaṁ no bhaviṣyati

ārya-putra = O son of the noble [king]; abhirāmaḥ = pleasant; asau = this; mṛgaḥ = deer; harati = attracts; me = my; manaḥ = mind; ānaya = please bring; enam = it; mahā-bāho = O mighty-armed one; krīḍā-artham naḥ = good for us to play with; bhaviṣyati = it will be.

O son of the noble [king], this pleasant deer attracts my mind. O mighty-armed one, please bring it! It will be good for us to play with.
