व्यसनं ते प्रियं मन्ये स्नेहो भ्रातरि नास्ति ते।
तेन तिष्ठसि विस्रब्धस्तमपश्यन्महाद्युतिम्॥
vyasanaṁ te priyaṁ manye sneho bhrātari nāsti te
tena tiṣṭhasi visrabdhas tam apaśyan mahā-dyutim
vyasanam = [Him being in this] crisis; te priyam = You like; manye = I think that; snehaḥ = affection; bhrātari = for Your brother; na asti te = You have no; tena = therefore; tiṣṭhasi = You stand [here]; visrabdhaḥ = with no anxiety; tam = Him; apaśyan = [even when] You can’t see; mahā-dyutim = with His great brilliance.
I think that You like [Him being in this] crisis. You have no affection for Your brother. Therefore, You stand [here] with no anxiety [even when] You can’t see Him with His great brilliance.1

Sītā-devī then anticipated Lakṣmaṇa’s question, “How can I give up protecting you and go [to Rāma]?” and spoke the next verse.
