Chapter 46: Rāvaṇa Disguises Himself and Approaches Sītā
Text 3.46.17

समाः शिखरिणः स्निग्धाः पाण्डुरा दशनास्तव।
विशाले विमले नेत्रे रक्तान्ते कृष्णतारके॥

samāḥ śikhariṇaḥ snigdhāḥ pāṇḍurā daśanās tava
viśāle vimale netre raktānte kṛṣṇa-tārake

samāḥ = are even; śikhariṇaḥ = and with soft edges resembling lotus buds; snigdhāḥ = soft; pāṇḍurāḥ = white; daśanāḥ = teeth; tava = your; viśāle = are wide; vimale = spotless; netre = your eyes; rakta-ante = red at the ends; kṛṣṇa-tārake = and your pupils are dark.

Your teeth are even, soft, white and with soft edges resembling lotus buds. Your eyes are wide, spotless, red at the ends and your pupils are dark.1

1 Netre raktānte kṛṣṇa-tārake literally means, “Your eyes are red at the ends and with dark pupils.”
