Chapter 49: Rāvaṇa Kidnaps Sītā

दैवतानि च यान्यस्मिन्वने विविधपादपे।
नमस्करोम्यहं तेभ्यो भर्तुः शंसत मां हृताम्॥
daivatāni ca yāny asmin vane vividha-pādape
namaskaromy ahaṁ tebhyo bhartuḥ śaṁsata māṁ hṛtām
daivatāni = deities; ca = and; yani asmin = in; vane = the forest; vividha-pādape = in the several trees [there]; namaskaromi = offer my obeisances; aham = I; tebhyaḥ = unto the; bhartuḥ = my husband; śaṁsata = please inform; mām hṛtām = that I have been abducted.
I offer my obeisances unto the deities in the forest and in the several trees [there]. Please inform my husband that I have been abducted!
