Chapter 56: Sītā is Taken to Aśoka-vana
Text 3.57.33
सर्वकालफलैर्वृक्षैर्नानापुष्पफलैर्वृताम्।
सर्वकालमदैश्चापि द्विजैः समुपसेविताम्॥
sarva-kāla-phalair vṛkṣair nānā-puṣpa-phalair vṛtām
sarva-kāla-madaiś cāpi dvijaiḥ samupasevitām
sarva-kāla-phalaiḥ = those trees produced fruits at all times [of the year]; vṛkṣaiḥ = with trees; nānā-puṣpa-phalaiḥ = that bore a variety of flowers and fruits; vṛtam = [that grove] was filled; sarva-kāla-madaiḥ ca api = that were excited at all times [of the year]; dvijaiḥ = birds; samupasevitam = frequented [that grove].
[That grove] was filled with trees that bore a variety of flowers and fruits. Those trees produced fruits at all times [of the year]. Birds that were excited at all times [of the year] frequented [that grove].
