प्राप्स्यसि त्वं महाप्राज्ञ मैथिलीं जनकात्मजाम्।
यथा विष्णुर्महाबाहुर्बलिं बद्ध्वा महीमिमाम्॥
prāpsyasi tvaṁ mahā-prājña maithilīṁ janakātmajām
yathā viṣṇur mahā-bāhur baliṁ baddhvā mahīm imām
prāpsyasi = will [certainly] obtain after arresting her abductor; tvam = You; mahā-prājña = O greatly intelligent one; maithilīm = Maithilī; janaka-ātmajām = the daughter of King Janaka; yathā = just as; viṣṇuḥ = Lord Viṣṇu; mahā-bāhuḥ = the mighty-armed; balim = Bali Mahārāja; baddhvā = after arresting; mahīm = earth; imām = [attained] this.
O greatly intelligent one, You will [certainly] attain Maithilī, the daughter of King Janaka, after arresting her abductor—just as the mighty-armed Lord Viṣṇu [attained] this earth after arresting Bali Mahārāja.1
