Chapter 61: Rāma’s Lamentation
Text 3.61.27
वनं सर्वं सुविचितं पद्मिन्यः फुल्लपङ्कजाः।
गिरिश्चायं महाप्राज्ञ बहुकन्दरनिर्झरः॥
vanaṁ sarvaṁ suvicitaṁ padminyaḥ phulla-paṅkajāḥ
giriś cāyaṁ mahā-prājña bahu-kandara-nirjharaḥ
vanam = forest; sarvam = the entire; suvicitam = We have properly searched through; padminyaḥ = ponds with lotuses; phulla-paṅkajāḥ = blossoming mud-born; giriḥ = mountain; ca = and; ayam = this; mahā-prājña = O greatly intelligent one; bahu-kandara-nirjharaḥ = with its many caves and waterfalls.
O greatly intelligent one, We have properly searched through the entire forest, ponds with blossoming mud-born lotuses and this mountain with its many caves and waterfalls.
