Chapter 64: Rāma Discovers Some Clues About Sītā’s Whereabouts
Text 3.64.25
एवं सम्भाषमाणौ तावन्योन्यं भ्रातरावुभौ।
वसुन्धरायां पतितं पुष्पमार्गमपश्यताम्॥
evaṁ sambhāṣamāṇau tāv anyonyaṁ bhrātarāv ubhau
vasundharāyāṁ patitaṁ puṣpa-mārgam apaśyatām
evam = thus; sambhāṣamāṇau = conversed; tau = while the; anyonyam = with each other; bhrātarau = brothers; ubhau = two; vasundharāyām = on the ground; patitam = fallen; puṣpa-mārgam = a trail of flowers; apaśyatām = They saw.
While the two brothers thus conversed with each other, They saw a trail of flowers fallen on the land.
