Chapter 64: Rāma Discovers Some Clues About Sītā’s Whereabouts
Text 3.64.26

तां पुष्प-वृष्टिं पतितां दृष्ट्वा रामो महीतले।
उवाच लक्ष्मणं वीरो दुःखितो दुःखितं वचः॥

tāṁ puṣpa-vṛṣṭiṁ patitāṁ dṛṣṭvā rāmo mahī-tale
uvāca lakṣmaṇaṁ vīro duḥkhito duḥkhitaṁ vacaḥ

tām = the; puṣpa-vṛṣṭim = shower of flowers; patitām = that had fallen; dṛṣṭvā = when saw; rāmaḥ = Rāma; mahī-tale = on the ground; uvāca = and spoke; lakṣmaṇam = to Lakṣmaṇa; vīraḥ = that hero; duḥkhitaḥ = He became distressed; duḥkhitam = who had [also] become distressed; vacaḥ = the [following] words.

When Rāma saw the shower of flowers that had fallen on the ground, that hero became distressed and spoke the [following] words to Lakṣmaṇa who had [also] become distressed.

Vīraḥ (“that hero”) indicates that Śrī Rāma was capable of executing the means to see [Mother Sītā] as soon as He got to know it.
