Chapter 68: Jaṭāyu’s Liberation
Text 3.68.32

रामोऽथ सहसौमित्रिर्वनं गत्वा स वीर्यवान्।
स्थूलान्हत्वा महारोहीननु तस्तार तं द्विजम्॥

rāmo ’tha saha-saumitrir vanaṁ gatvā sa vīryavān
sthūlān hatvā mahā-rohīn anu tastāra taṁ dvijam

rāmaḥ = Rāma; atha = then; saha-saumitriḥ = and Saumitri; vanam = to the forest; gatvā = went; saḥ vīryavān = powerful; sthūlān = fat; hatvā = killed; mahā-rohīn = stags; anu = to; tastāra = and spread them out as an offering; tam = that; dvijam = bird.

Powerful Rāma and Saumitri then went to the forest, killed fat stags and spread them out as an offering to that bird.
