Canto 3 -
Araṇya-kāṇḍa
Chapter 74: Lord Rāma Visits Śabarī
Text 3.74.28

कृत्स्नं वनमिदं दृष्टं श्रोतव्यं च श्रुतं त्वया।
तदिच्छाम्यभ्यनुज्ञाता त्यक्तुमेतत्कलेवरम्॥

kṛtsnaṁ vanam idaṁ dṛṣṭaṁ śrotavyaṁ ca śrutaṁ tvayā
tad icchāmy abhyanujñātā tyaktum etat kalevaram

kṛtsnam = the entire; vanam = forest; idam = here; dṛṣṭam = have [now] seen; śrotavyam = everything that is to be heard; ca = and; śrutam = heard; tvayā = You; tat = so; icchāmi = I [now] wish; abhyanujñātā = with Your permission; tyaktum = to give up; etat = this; kalevaram = body [of mine].

You have [now] seen the entire forest here and heard everything that is to be heard. So, with Your permission, I [now] wish to give up this body [of mine].

This verse summarizes [her thoughts].

What did she intend to do after giving up her body? That is stated in the next verse.
