Bāla-kāṇḍa
Chapter 1: Contents of the Rāmāyaṇa Summarized
Text 1.1.91

नगराणि च राष्ट्राणि धनधान्ययुतानि च।
नित्यं प्रमुदिताः सर्वे यथा कृतयुगे तथा॥

nagarāṇi ca rāṣṭrāṇi dhana-dhānya-yutāni ca
nityaṁ pramuditāḥ sarve yathā kṛta-yuge tathā

nagarāṇi = the cities; ca = and; rāṣṭrāṇi = countryside; dhana-dhānya-yutāni ca = will be filled with wealth and grains; nityam = always; pramuditāḥ = will be very happy; sarve = everyone; yathā = like; kṛta-yuge tathā = in Satya-yuga.

The cities and countryside will be filled with wealth and grains. Everyone will always be very happy like in Satya-yuga.

The cities would be filled with wealth and the countryside would be filled with grains.

Thus, how Rāma executed His specific duty of kṣatriya-dharma by maintaining His citizens has been described. From the next verse, how He performed His dharma as a twice-born will be described.
