Chapter 11: Daśaratha Brings Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Ayodhyā
Text 1.11.11
एवं स देवप्रवरः पूर्वं कथितवान्कथाम्।
सनत्कुमारो भगवान्पुरा देवयुगे प्रभुः॥
evaṁ sa deva-pravaraḥ pūrvaṁ kathitavān kathām
sanat-kumāro bhagavān purā deva-yuge prabhuḥ
evam = thus; saḥ = that; deva-pravaraḥ = best of the celestials; pūrvam = in the past; kathitavān kathām = spoke; sanat-kumāraḥ = Sanat-kumāra; bhagavān = and powerful; purā = the ancient; deva-yuge = in Satya-yuga; prabhuḥ = master.
Thus, that best of the celestials, the ancient and powerful master Sanat-kumāra, spoke in the past in Satya-yuga.
