Text 1.11.16
आसाद्य तं द्विजश्रेष्ठं रोमपादसमीपगम्।
ऋषिपुत्रं ददर्शादौ दीप्यमानमिवानलम्॥
āsādya taṁ dvija-śreṣṭhaṁ romapāda-samīpagam
ṛṣi-putraṁ dadarśādau dīpyamānam ivānalam
āsādya = having arrived; tam = at that place; dvija-śreṣṭham = the best of the twiceborn; romapāda-samīpagam = next to Romapāda; ṛṣi-putram = the son of the sage Vibhaṇḍaka; dadarśa = saw; ādau = he first of all; dīpyamānam = shining; iva = like; analam = fire.
Having arrived at that place, he first of all saw the best of the twiceborn, the son of the sage Vibhaṇḍaka, shining like fire, next to Romapāda.
He saw Ṛśyaśṛṅga before seeing Romapāda to show his abundant devotion to him.
