Chapter 11: Daśaratha Brings Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Ayodhyā
Text 1.11.19
एवं सुसत्कृतस्तेन सहोषित्वा नरर्षभः।
सप्ताष्टदिवसान्राजा राजानमिदमब्रवीत्॥
evaṁ susatkṛtas tena sahoṣitvā nara-rṣabhaḥ
saptāṣṭa-divasān rājā rājānam idam abravīt
evam = being; susatkṛtaḥ = nicely honored; tena = him; saha = with; uṣitvā = and having stayed there; nara-rṣabhaḥ = the Lord of men; sapta aṣṭa-divasān = for seven or eight days; rājā = King Daśaratha; rājānam = to King Romapāda; idam = the following; abravīt = told.
Being nicely honored and having stayed there for seven or eight days with him, King Daśaratha, the Lord of men, told the following to King Romapāda.
