Chapter 11: Daśaratha Brings Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Ayodhyā
Text 1.11.22
ऋषिपुत्रः प्रतिश्रुत्य तथेत्य् आह नृपं तदा।
स नृपेणाभ्यनुज्ञातः प्रययौ सह भार्यया॥
ṛṣi-putraḥ pratiśrutya tathety āha nṛpaṁ tadā
sa nṛpeṇābhyanujñātaḥ prayayau saha bhāryayā
ṛṣi-putraḥ = the sage’s son; pratiśrutya = hearing this; tathā iti = alright; āha = told; nṛpam tadā = King Romapāda; saḥ = he; nṛpeṇa = of the king; abhyanujñātaḥ = with the permission; prayayau = departed; saha = with; bhāryayā = his wife.
Hearing this, the sage’s son told the king, “Alright.” Having bidden farewell to the king, he departed with his wife.”
