Chapter 11: Daśaratha Brings Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Ayodhyā
Text 1.11.27
ततः स्वलङ्कृतं राजा नगरं प्रविवेश ह।
शङ्खदुन्दुभिनिर्घोषैः पुरस्कृत्य द्विजर्षभम्॥
tataḥ svalaṅkṛtaṁ rājā nagaraṁ praviveśa ha
śaṅkha-dundubhi-nirghoṣaiḥ puraskṛtya dvija-rṣabham
tataḥ = then; svalaṅkṛtam = the well decorated; rājā = the king; nagaram = city; praviveśa ha = entered; śaṅkha-dundubhi-nirghoṣaiḥ = along with the sounds of conches and drums; puraskṛtya = in front of him; dvija-rṣabham = keeping the best of the twiceborn
Then, keeping the best of the twiceborn in front of him, the well decorated king entered the city along with the sounds of conches and drums.
