Chapter 12: Preparation for the Aśvamedha Sacrifice
Text 1.12.19
तथेति च ततः सर्वे मन्त्रिणः प्रत्यपूजयन्।
पार्थिवेन्द्रस्य तद्वाक्यं यथाज्ञप्तमकुर्वत॥
tatheti ca tataḥ sarve mantriṇaḥ pratyapūjayan
pārthivendrasya tad vākyaṁ yathājñaptam akurvata
tathā iti ca = by saying, “alright”; tataḥ = after hearing his instructions; sarve mantriṇaḥ = all the ministers; pratyapūjayan = honored him; pārthiva-indrasya tat vākyam yathā-ājñaptam akurvata = [and] did what they were ordered by the king.
After hearing his instructions, all the ministers honored him by saying, “Alright” and did what they were ordered by the king.
They carried out all the rituals from the Sāṅgrahaṇī Iṣṭi up to the release of the sacrificial horse.
