Chapter 13: Daśaratha Goes to the Sacrificial Arena
Text 1.13.24
तथा केकयराजानं वृद्धं परमधार्मिकम्।
श्वशुरं राजसिंहस्य सपुत्रं त्वमिहानय॥
tathā kekaya-rājānaṁ vṛddhaṁ parama-dhārmikam
śvaśuraṁ rāja-siṁhasya saputraṁ tvam ihānaya
tathā kekaya-rājānam = the king of Kekaya; vṛddham = the king is old; parama-dhārmikam = highly dhārmika; śvaśuram = and a father-in-law; rāja-siṁhasya = of the emperor; saputram = with his son; tvam iha anaya = bring.
Bring the king of Kekaya with his son. The king is old, highly dhārmika and a father-in-law of the Emperor.
