Chapter 14: The Aśvamedha Sacrifice
Text 1.14.15

अन्नकूटाश्च बहवो दृश्यन्ते पर्वतोपमाः।
दिवसे दिवसे तत्र सिद्धस्य विधिवत्तदा॥

anna-kūṭāś ca bahavo dṛśyante parvatopamāḥ
divase
divase tatra siddhasya vidhivat tadā

anna-kūṭāḥ ca = piles; bahavaḥ = several; dṛśyante = foodstuffs of four kinds (foods that are eaten, chewed, licked up and sucked) were noticed; parvata-upamāḥ = mountainlike; divase divase = every single day; tatra = there; siddhasya = of cooked; vidhivat tadā = cooked in accordance with the regulations for cooking.

Several mountainlike piles of cooked foodstuffs of four kinds (foods that are eaten, chewed, licked up and sucked) were noticed there every single day, cooked in accordance with the regulations for cooking.
