Chapter 18: The Advent of Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa, Bharata and Śatrughna

श्रीमतां गच्छतां तेषां स्वपुराणि पुरात्ततः।
बलानि राज्ञां शुभ्राणि प्रहृष्टानि चकाशिरे॥
śrīmatāṁ gacchatāṁ teṣāṁ sva-purāṇi purāt tataḥ
balāni rājñāṁ śubhrāṇi prahṛṣṭāni cakāśire
śrīmatām = prosperous; gacchatām = going; teṣām = those; sva-purāṇi = to their own cities; purāt = from Ayodhyā; tataḥ = then; balāni = armed forces of; rājñām = kings; śubhrāṇi = the splendid; prahṛṣṭāni = with great happiness; cakāśire = shone.
The splendid armed forces of those prosperous kings going to their own cities from Ayodhyā then shone with great happiness.
The armed forces were splendid with clothes and other paraphernalia gifted by Daśaratha.
