Chapter 21: The Anger and Appeasal of Viśvāmitra
Text 1.21.20
एवंवीर्यो महातेजा विश्वामित्रो महायशाः।
न रामगमने राजन्संशयं गन्तुमर्हसि॥
evaṁ-vīryo mahā-tejā viśvāmitro mahā-yaśāḥ
na rāma-gamane rājan saṁśayaṁ gantum arhasi
evam-vīryaḥ = such is the prowess; mahā-tejāḥ = of the greatly powerful; viśvāmitraḥ = Viśvāmitra; mahā-yaśāḥ = of great fame; na = no; rāma-gamane = about Rāma’s going with him; rājan = O king; saṁśayam gantum arhasi = you should harbor doubts.
Such is the prowess of the greatly powerful Viśvāmitra of great fame. O king, you should harbor no doubts about Rāma’s going with him.
