Chapter 22: The Departure of Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa with Viśvāmitra
Text 1.22.15

बलामतिबलां चैव पठतस्तव राघव।
न सौभाग्ये न दाक्षिण्ये न ज्ञाने बुद्धिनिश्चये।
नोत्तरे प्रतिवक्तव्ये समो लोके तवानघ॥

balām atibalāṁ caiva paṭhatas tava rāghava
na
saubhāgye na dākṣiṇye na jñāne buddhi-niścaye
nottare
prativaktavye samo loke tavānagha

balām = of balā; atibalām = atibalā; ca = and; eva = and; paṭhataḥ = because of recitation; tava = Your; rāghava = descendant of Raghu; na saubhāgye = in beauty; na = none [equal]; dākṣiṇye = in capability; na = none [equal]; jñāne = in knowledge; buddhi-niścaye = intelligent ascertainment of the right course of action; na = none; uttare prativaktavye = and the right reply to a question; samaḥ = equal; loke = in this world, [there will be]; tava = to You; anagha = O sinless.

O sinless descendant of Raghu, by reciting balā and atibalā, there will be none equal in the world to You in beauty, capability, knowledge, intelligent ascertainment of the right course of action and the right reply to a question.
