Chapter 22: The Departure of Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa with Viśvāmitra
Text 1.22.23

गुरुकार्याणि सर्वाणि नियुज्य कुशिकात्मजे।
ऊषुस्तां रजनीं तत्र सरय्वां सुसुखं त्रयः॥

guru-kāryāṇi sarvāṇi niyujya kuśikātmaje
ūṣus
tāṁ rajanīṁ tatra sarayvāṁ susukhaṁ trayaḥ

guru-kāryāṇi = His duties to His guru; sarvāṇi = all of; niyujya = having carried out; kuśika-ātmaje = the son of Kuśika; ūṣuḥ = stayed; tām = that; rajanīm = night; tatra = there; sarayvām = on the banks of Sarayū; susukham = very happily; trayaḥ = the three.

Having carried out His duties to His guru, the son of Kuśika, the three happily stayed there on the banks of Sarayū that night.

Lord Rāma massaged the feet of His guru, Viśvāmitra, and carried out such other duties.
