Chapter 26: The Killing of the Demoness Tāṭakā
Text 1.26.17
उद्धून्वाना रजो घोरं ताटका राघवावुभौ।
रजोमोहेन महता मुहूर्तं सा व्यमोहयत्॥
uddhūnvānā rajo ghoraṁ tāṭakā rāghavāv ubhau
rajo-mohena mahatā muhūrtaṁ sā vyamohayat
uddhūnvānā = throwing up; rajaḥ = dust; ghoram = in a terrible manner; tāṭakā = Tāṭakā; rāghavau ubhau = the two descendants of Raghu; rajaḥ-mohena mahatā = with a great cloud of dust; muhūrtam = for a moment; sā vyamohayat = bewildered to confound Them.
Throwing up dust in a terrible manner, Tāṭakā bewildered the descendants of Raghu for a moment with a great cloud of dust to confound Them.
