Chapter 26: The Killing of the Demoness Tāṭakā
Text 1.26.30
उवाच परमप्रीतः सहस्राक्षः पुरन्दरः।
सुराश्च सर्वे संहृष्टा विश्वामित्रमथाब्रुवन्॥
uvāca parama-prītaḥ sahasrākṣaḥ purandaraḥ
surāś ca sarve saṁhṛṣṭā viśvāmitram athābruvan
uvāca = told; parama-prītaḥ = was extremely happy; sahasra-akṣaḥ = of a thousand eyes; purandaraḥ = Purandara; surāḥ ca sarve = he and all the demigods; saṁhṛṣṭāḥ = delighted; viśvāmitram = Viśvāmitra; atha = then; abruvan = told.
Purandara of a thousand eyes was extremely happy. He and all the delighted demigods then told Viśvāmitra.
