Chapter 26: The Killing of the Demoness Tāṭakā
Text 1.26.31

मुने कौशिक भद्रं ते सेन्द्राः सर्वे मरुद्गणाः।
तोषिताः कर्मणानेन स्नेहं दर्शय राघवे॥

mune kauśika bhadraṁ te sendrāḥ sarve marud-gaṇāḥ
toṣitāḥ
karmaṇānena snehaṁ darśaya rāghave

mune = O sage; kauśika = Kauśika; bhadram te = may there be auspiciousness unto you; sa-indrāḥ = including Indra; sarve = all of us; marud-gaṇāḥ = and the Maruts; toṣitāḥ = are satisfied; karmaṇā anena = with this activity; sneham darśaya = please be affectionate; rāghave = to Rāghava.

O sage Kauśika, may there be auspiciousness unto you!1 All of us including Indra and the Maruts are satisfied with this activity. Please be affectionate to Rāghava.

1 Kauśika is a name of Viśvāmitra. It means “son of Kuśika.”
