Chapter 26: The Killing of the Demoness Tāṭakā
Text 1.26.34
एवमुक्त्वा सुराः सर्वे जग्मुर्हृष्टा यथागतम्।
विश्वामित्रं पुरस्कृत्य ततः सन्ध्या प्रवर्तते॥
evam uktvā surāḥ sarve jagmur hṛṣṭā yathāgatam
viśvāmitraṁ puraskṛtya tataḥ sandhyā pravartate
evam = thus; uktvā = having spoken; surāḥ sarve = all of the demigods; jagmuḥ = left; hṛṣṭāḥ = happily; yathā-āgatam = just as they came; viśvāmitram = Viśvāmitra; puraskṛtya = after worshipping; tataḥ = then; sandhyā = dusk; pravartate = set in.
Having spoken thus, after worshipping Viśvāmitra, all of the demigods happily left just as they came. Then dusk set in.
