अशनी द्वे प्रयच्छामि शुष्कार्द्रे रघुनन्दन।
ददामि चास्त्रं पैनाकमस्त्रं नारायणं तथा॥
aśanī dve prayacchāmi śuṣkārdre raghu-nandana
dadāmi cāstraṁ painākam astraṁ nārāyaṇaṁ tathā
aśanī dve = two thunderbolt weapons; prayacchāmi = I will give You; śuṣka-ardre = the Śuṣkāśani and Ārdrāśanī; raghu-nandana = O beloved descendant of Raghu; dadāmi ca = I will also give You; astram painākam astram nārāyaṇam tathā = and the weapons of Pinākī (Śiva) and Nārāyaṇa.
O beloved descendant of Raghu, I will give You two thunderbolt weapons—the Śuṣkāśani and Ārdrāśanī.1 I will also give You and the weapons of Pinākī (Śiva) and Nārāyaṇa.
1 They mean “dry thunderbolt” and “wet thunderbolt” respectively.
