Chapter 29: The History of Siddhāśrama
Text 1.29.15
अदित्या देवतानां च मम चैवानुयाचतः।
वरं वरद सुप्रीतो दातुमर्हसि सुव्रत॥
adityā devatānāṁ ca mama caivānuyācataḥ
varaṁ varada suprīto dātum arhasi suvrata
adityāḥ = by Aditi; devatānām ca = the devas; mama ca eva = and myself; anuyācataḥ = sought by; varam = that boon; varada = O bestower of boons; suprītaḥ = happily; dātum arhasi = grant; suvrata = O one of auspicious vows.
O bestower of boons, O one of auspicious vows, happily grant that boon sought by Aditi, the devas and myself.
