Chapter 29: The History of Siddhāśrama
Text 1.29.40

तं दृष्ट्वा मुनयः सर्वे सिद्धाश्रमनिवासिनः।
उत्पत्योत्पत्य सहसा विश्वामित्रमपूजयन्॥

taṁ dṛṣṭvā munayaḥ sarve siddhāśrama-nivāsinaḥ
utpatyotpatya
sahasā viśvāmitram apūjayan

tam dṛṣṭvā = upon seeing Viśvāmitra; munayaḥ sarve = all of the sages; siddhāśrama-nivāsinaḥ = residing in Siddhāśrama; utpatya utpatya = assembled and; sahasā = immediately; viśvāmitram = Viśvāmitra; apūjayan = worshipped.

Upon seeing Viśvāmitra, all of the sages residing in Siddhāśrama immediately assembled and worshipped Viśvāmitra.

Utpatya utpatya indicates that the sages were greatly affectionate to Viśvāmitra. There were many sages there.
