Chapter 4: Kuśa and Lava Meet Lord Rāmacandra
Text 1.4.28

प्रशस्यमानौ सर्वत्र कदाचित्तत्र गायकौ।
रथ्यासु राजमार्गेषु ददर्श भरताग्रजः॥

praśasyamānau sarvatra kadācit tatra gāyakau
rathyāsu rāja-mārgeṣu dadarśa bharatāgrajaḥ

praśasyamānau = they were glorified; sarvatra = everywhere; kadācit =once; tatra = in the sacrificial arena; gāyakau = the two singers; rathyāsu = in the streets; rāja-mārgeṣu = the royal highways; dadarśa = noticed; bharata-agrajaḥ = the elder brother of Bharata.

Once, the elder brother of Bharata noticed the two singers in that sacrificial arena.1 They were glorified in the streets, the royal highways and everywhere.

The elder brother of Bharata is Śrī Rāma. He noticed the two singers, that is, He was informed by Bharata of the two singers.
