Text 1.4.29

स्ववेश्म चानीय ततो भ्रातरौ स कुशीलवौ।
पूजयामास पूजार्हौ रामः शत्रुनिबर्हणः॥

sva-veśma cānīya tato bhrātarau sa kuśī-lavau
pūjayām āsa pūjārhau rāmaḥ śatru-nibarhaṇaḥ

sva-veśma = to His house; ca = and; anīya = brought; tataḥ = then; bhrātarau = two brothers; saḥ = the; kuśī-lavau = Kuśa and Lava; pūjayām āsa =honoured them; pūjā-arhau = the honorable; rāmaḥ = Lord Rāmacandra; śatru-nibarhaṇaḥ = the killer of His enemies.

Then, Lord Rāmacandra, the killer of His enemies, brought the honorable two brothers Kuśa and Lava to His house and honored them.

Lord Rāma then brought the brothers to His home. They were honorable because they were singers of a composition about Him. They were astonishing, being of equal age, beauty and other features.
