Chapter 41: Aṁśumān Searches for His Uncles and the Horse
Text 1.41.23
सुपर्णवचनं श्रुत्वा सोंशुमानतिवीर्यवान्।
त्वरितं हयमादाय पुनरायान्महायशाः॥
suparṇa-vacanaṁ śrutvā so ’ṁśumān ativīryavān
tvaritaṁ hayam ādāya punar āyān mahā-yaśāḥ
suparṇa-vacanam = the words of Garuḍa; śrutvā = hearing; saḥ aṁśumān = Aṁśumān; ativīryavān = of extreme prowess; tvaritam = quickly; hayam = the horse; ādāya = took and; punaḥ āyāt = returned; mahā-yaśāḥ = and great fame.
Hearing the words of Garuḍa, Aṁśumān of extreme prowess and great fame quickly took the horse and departed.
