Chapter 47: King Sumati Approaches Viśvāmitra
Text 1.47.21

पूजां च परमां कृत्वा सोपाध्यायः सबान्धवः।
प्राञ्जलिः कुशलं पृष्ट्वा विश्वामित्रमथाब्रवीत्॥

pūjāṁ ca paramāṁ kṛtvā sopādhyāyaḥ sabāndhavaḥ
prāñjaliḥ
kuśalaṁ pṛṣṭvā viśvāmitram athābravīt

pūjām ca paramām kṛtvā = the king worshipped the sage nicely; sa-upādhyāyaḥ = along with his priests; sa-bāndhavaḥ = and friends; prāñjaliḥ = then with his palms joined in supplications; kuśalam pṛṣṭvā = he inquired about his welfare and then; viśvāmitram = from Viśvāmitra; atha abravīt = spoke as follows.

Along with his priests and friends, the king worshipped the sage nicely. Then, with his palms joined in supplications, he inquired from Viśvāmitra about his welfare, and then spoke as follows.
