उत्पाट्य मेषवृषणौ सहस्राक्षे न्यवेशयन्॥

agnes tu vacanaṁ śrutvā pitṛ-devāḥ samāgatāḥ

agneḥ tu = Agni’s; vacanam = words; śrutvā = hearing; pitṛ-devāḥ = pitṛ-devas; samāgatāḥ = the assembled; utpāṭya = removed and; meṣa-vṛṣaṇau = the testicles of a ram; sahasra-ākṣe = on to the thousand-eyed Indra; nyaveśayan = fitted it.

Hearing Agni’s words, the assembled pitṛ-devas removed the testicles of a ram and fitted it on to the thousand-eyed Indra.
