Chapter 49: Lord Rāmacandra Delivers Ahalyā
Text 1.49.13

तदागच्छ महातेज आश्रमं पुण्यकर्मणः।
तारयैनां महाभागामहल्यां देवरूपिणीम्॥

tad āgaccha mahā-teja āśramaṁ puṇya-karmaṇaḥ
tārayaināṁ
mahā-bhāgām ahalyāṁ deva-rūpiṇīm

tat = therefore; āgaccha = come; mahā-tejaḥ = O greatly powerful one; āśramam = to the āśrama; puṇya-karmaṇaḥ = of the sage of pious acts; tāraya = deliver; enām mahā-bhāgām = this greatly fortune; ahalyām = Ahalyā; deva-rūpiṇīm = of celestial form.

O greatly powerful one, therefore, come to the āśrama of the sage of pious acts. Deliver this greatly fortunate Ahalyā of celestial form.

Śrī Viśvāmitra wanted Lord Rāmacandra to enter Gautama’s āśrama because the curse on Ahalyā was effective until His arrival.
