Chapter 49: Lord Rāmacandra Delivers Ahalyā
Text 1.49.4
तस्मात्सुरवराः सर्वे सर्षिसङ्घाः सचारणाः।
सुरसाह्यकरं सर्वे सफलं कर्तुमर्हथ॥
tasmāt sura-varāḥ sarve sarṣi-saṅghāḥ sacāraṇāḥ
sura-sāhyakaraṁ sarve saphalaṁ kartum arhatha
tasmāt = therefore; sura-varāḥ sarve = O best of the demigods; sa-ṛṣi-saṅghāḥ = sages; sa-cāraṇāḥ = and cāraṇas; sura-sāhyakaram = as a help for the demigods; sarve = all of you; saphalam kartum arhatha = should make me potent.
O best of the demigods, sages and cāraṇas, therefore, all of you should make me potent, as a help for the demigods.
